Liane Ricci has been creating fine art and original, dynamic artwork for rugs, fabric, wallpaper, and furniture for over 15 years. Her collaborative projects have ranged from painted corsets for Disney's The Lion King, to bespoke rug designs showcased in the La Cienega Design Quarter of Los Angeles. Major artworks include commissioned paintings for the Four Seasons Villas, over 1400 prints for The MGM Grand City Center Las Vegas, and a specially-made sculpture for the Fabergé Big Egg Hunt, hosted by Sotheby's.
The New York native received her art education in Manhattan at the Art Students League of New York, the School of Visual Arts, the Fashion Institute of Technology, and in Connecticut at the Hartford Art School. During the summer of 2016, Liane studied traditional fresco painting in Vittorio Veneto, Italy; leading to the launch of RICCI Studio, blending old-world techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
Currently, Liane resides in charming Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Through RICCI Studio, she continues to explore a variety of techniques, using the highest levels of craftsmanship, and a commitment to integrity in design.
